If you were born in a Sikh family, the saying “Waheguru Tera Shukar Hai” must not be new to you. We as children are taught to appreciate and be thankful for what we have, before we ask for something from the Almighty. Gratitude is very powerful and can be beneficial for our mental and physical health. Being in gratitude is an amazing experience, which calms us even in challenging times like these. In these unprecedented times, many of us have an opportunity to spend time with our families and further strengthen our relationships. A few of us have been able to work on some interesting side projects which we have been delaying for a long time. When we change how to perceive or react to a situation, we further develop knowledge on how to behave in these circumstances.

Oh my body! The Lord infused His Light in you and then you came to this world.
(Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji – Ang 921)

As written in Gurbani, we are a messenger to spread positivity and recognize the Human Race as One. Like never before, we are seeing and/or hearing acts of kindness on our social media platforms from around the world. Show your gratitude towards Doctors, Nurses, Teachers, Parents and everyone around you by simply saying “Thank You” for everything they do. You will start to realize that the world has changed around you and you will live in Bliss.
